instax SHARE App Reviews

So, as the title says, this app syncs nicely with the little printer. The whole thing is cute and fun, albeit a bit pricey. I agree with other reviewers about directions. Not sure why "download the Fuji Instax Share app" is not the very first thing written under directions when you get the printer. Even before putting the batteries in the device, step one should be "get the app"! I literally overlooked that obvious need momentarily and kept waiting for a miracle with wifi. Duh. Anyhow, looking forward to creatively displaying pics of my loved ones all over the place!✌

Anyone saying that the printer is working fine under ios9 is mistaken or had not tried to load a photo from their existing images. Yes, the printer will print a photo taken off the phone camera but the app will NOT access your camera roll. Not sure if this is limited to those using iCloud for photos but since most are, Fuji has a lot of unhappy customers. Clearly they have known about the problem since October but their sales team continues to pitch the product without warning potential customers of this significant bug. I was just at a local photo expo last week and spoke to the Fuji reps about the printer. They were either ignorant or willfully deceptive about this issue.

Very disappointing to find out I can no longer access my iCloud photos from the app to print. DO NOT PURCHASE printer if you have IOS9 should the app not get fixed.

Sort of pointless

I was not going to buy the printer because of the reviews on this app.. But it works!! For those who say it doesnt load pictures from their cloud.. Yea it wont add ALL your pictures.. But what you can do is create an album and add all the pics you want to print.. And BOOM! It shows up in the app and is ready to print!! Dont let these negative reviews deter you from buying it.. It works.. And its awesome!!

I cant access photos from my camera roll. You need to fix this!

Three things to make sure of before you start using it. You need to recognize the wifi from the application to print. Take a photo with the app first and print that. Just enjoy it for what it is.

Camera roll never loads

This printer is awesome & the app worked perfectly for me! Up to date iPhone 6s. Love that I can print photos from my phone. You quickly go through your film b/c youll want to print everything!

App was really easy to use! Running on iOS 9.0.1

I own the IPhone 5c and is updated to the latest update (iOS 9.2). I got this printer for Christmas and it works perfectly fine. I too was afraid to get it because I read reviews of it not working with iOS 9, but Ive had no issues with it. As soon as I opened it from the box I loaded up the blank film and printed a picture. I love this printer and I recommend their camera, its been tons of fun! Happy Holidays to all!!❤️ ~Abby

Not sure what the negative reviews are all about. We had no problems. You connect to the mini printer by choosing the “INSTAX” Wi-Fi network on your phone. Easy peasy.

Maybe they fixed the issues the app was having before because I have no problems printing photos. I have an iPhone 6 running on 9.2 and this app does everything that its supposed to do. I gave it 4 stars because I wish there were more templates that you could use. I like what is there I just think there could be more variation.

The app works totally fine printing pictures from my camera roll and I think the problem people were having with it was with iOS 9 but the current version works great

I cant even connect to the printer anymore. I updated my phone and it just kept saying cannot connect. This issue needs to be fix. I even tried resetting the password and it still does not work

Works perf. 100% you need the camera for this app.

It worked perfectly! You have to disconnect your wifi network and connect to the printer. I love the Polaroid quality!

After many days of searching for advice I now have to just throw in the towel. My printer worked ONE time and now says "Could not connect to the printer" even after it is connected on my phone. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work that I now have to replace my batteries. It was a gift & one I wont be able to use.

This app is suppose to allow you to print your pictures via Fujifilm Instax Printer and thats just what it does. You can either take a picture and print it or print an existing picture and it really doesnt take long at all!

ONCE AGAIN THIS APP DOES NOT LET ME ACCESS ALL OF MY PICTURES ON MY IPHONE … please fix… please
